Sex and the City Cosmopolitan Cocktail Recipe

1. To begin, I filled a cocktail shaker up with ice. I then poured 1½ ounces of vodka in the shaker followed by 1 ounce of cranberry juice, ½ ounce of Cointreau (or Grand Marnier) and a ½ ounce of lime juice. Shake the cocktail shaker for about 30 seconds until well chilled. Then, strain into a martini glass. You can garnish with an orange rind twist or a lime wheel. In the television show, Sex and the City, their drinks were often garnished with an orange rind twist but I prefer a lime wheel in my Cosmos.
