Icing is very easy to make but as a tweak to the icing I prefer using vanilla bean extract instead of vanilla extract

NICE! Very easy and delicious icing. I used it on some canned cinnamon rolls that I used the “heavy cream” hack recipe with. Then I made this recipe and squeezed the can icing in with the homemade icing…best cinnamon rolls ever!!! I do think I shouldn’t have added the canned icing…it tasted fine -probably better without it. I just didn’t want to waste it…next time I’ll skip adding it to my homemade icing. Thanks, JC

Super easy to make and really good! I did the same amount of milk and butter as the recipe but only a cup of powdered sugar (just regular powdered sugar I have never noticed a difference in taste) and a teaspoon of Goodman's vanilla. Perfect amount for eight cinnamon rolls. Thanks!

I love the ease & flavor & texture of this recipe. The only thing I do different is start by melting butter in small saucepan add a pinch of salt. When butter melts I remove it from heat & beat in all other ingredients with handheld mixer. I cut the powdered sugar by about 1/2 cup cuz it’s a bit sweet for me & use a capful of vanilla instead of 2tsp. The cap is about 1 tsp. Love, love, love your recipes!
