Ingredients
3 medium apples (peeled and diced)
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 teaspoons Flour
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
2 tablespoons Flour
2 tablespoons cold butter (cut into pieces)
Steps
Preheat the oven to 375.
In a medium bowl, toss the apples with the sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Divide the apple mixture evenly between four small ramekins.
In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, oats, and flour. Add the butter and blend using a pastry blender or your fingers, until the mixture clumps together, and the pieces of butter are no larger than pea sized. Sprinkle the topping over the apples, dividing evenly.
Bake 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp on top. Serve warm with whipped cream and caramel sauce, if desired.
