Back by popular demand: my Southern Living carrot cake! Comment CARROTS for the recipe 🥕🥕 When Southern Living interviewed me for one of their Cooks of the Year profiles, they asked me to submit a recipe to go with the profile. I submitted this carrot cake, which was inspired by a carrot cake at @trulucksrestaurant (which I honestly hadn’t even tried but someone asked me to re-create it so I did my best based on their menu description). Anyway I was shocked and thrilled when I saw it featured on the cover of the magazine!! Sometimes sites go through refreshes and I suspect the recipe was taken down from SL under one of those refreshes.
