Sally on 2025-08-21 (5 stars): Delicious! I used EVOO. It's light and full of flavor! This is a keeper!
Sheri on 2025-08-18 (5 stars): Fantastic recipe thank you! I forgot to pick up dressing from the store for my pasta salad. I’m glad I did because this was by far much much more tasty! And I know exactly what is in it!! Will definitely make again, with no changes except maybe a smidge more parm because we love parm!
Erin on 2025-07-11 (5 stars): Delicious and way better than any store bought. I replaced parsley with fresh parsley and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. We have used on a grilled chicken salad and my husband kept commenting how good it is (he is a self proclaimed “sauce guy”). Yum!!
Catalina Martin on 2025-07-08 (5 stars): Great recipe! I’ve been looking for a great Italian dressing and this one was perfect! I’ll be using this often.
I had a small bottle of black cherry balsamic vinegar so I added a little of that along with the white wine vinegar and it was so good. Added a great little zing to it. Everyone loved the salad and dressing!
SeaZie on 2025-05-12 (5 stars): Yum! Yum! Yum!
Ginny on 2025-05-03 (5 stars): This was fantastic! I didn’t have honey so I subbed 1 tsp. Dijon mustard. I will never buy bottled Italian again.
Taz on 2025-03-09 (5 stars): I tried to double this. Iaccidently onlydoubled the oil, vinegar and lemon juice. It was still delicious on a pasta salad. I will make this again, but correctly next time.
Scott on 2025-03-07 (5 stars): I haven’t tried the recipe yet but I will be making dressing tomorrow and I’m looking forward to giving it a try, it looks good! My question is why store the leftover in the fridge ? It clouds the oil, which I assume is why you say to bring it to room temp before re-stirring. But none of the ingredients are stored in the fridge so why refrigerate the dressing? Is it the lemon juice? I probably just answered my own question but wanted to ask anyway. Thank you!
Susan C. on 2025-01-22 (4 stars): I'd give this a five, but the addition of water is a little baffling too me. The flavor is great, but the water made it, well, watery! Next time, I'll try it without the water at all, and then add if needed. Otherwise a really good recipe. I'm looking forward to trying others on the site.
Bella on 2025-01-13 (5 stars): The most flavorful Italian dressing! We will never make another, this recipe is fantastic!
We used red wine vinegar it toured out perfect. We had to add just a pinch of salt, other than that perfect, perfect!!!
Denise Johnson on 2024-12-28 (5 stars): Excellent Italian dressing - went very well with Lasagne
Thomas on 2024-09-23 (2 stars): I made this recipe exactly as it is printed! It was not good! very bland! If I were to make it again I would add garlic and Dijon Mustard and rice wine vinegar.
Sasha on 2024-09-05 (5 stars): I've made this twice. I did use red and white vinegar and a lot less oil, just because of my preference. Really good.
Taz on 2024-08-06 (1 stars): This has no flavor. Tasted like oil and vinegar. Quite the let down
