Ingredients
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 small garlic clove, pressed or minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
1 tablespoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice (or red wine vinegar)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly-cracked black pepper
Steps
Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl (or shake all ingredients together vigorously in a sealed jar) until completely combined.
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for between 1-7 days. (See notes on storage times below.) If you choose to refrigerate the dressing, it will need to be stirred or shaken again prior to serving.

Betty on 2025-03-24 (5 stars): I added 1.5 teaspoons of honey. It's a delicious recipe!
Lisa on 2025-04-12 (5 stars): I've been wanting to make my own dressing to ditch all the fake stuff. This was perfect! I didn't have Dijon, so I looked up a substitute and used spicy mustard. I also added date syrup. It was awesome on my salad of mixed greens with apples, blueberries, and strawberries. Thanks! This'll be my go-to salad dressing.
Brooke on 2025-05-15 (5 stars): This recipe is so good!!! I have tried a million different salad dressing recipes all over Pinterest and other sites. And this is by far the best one I’ve come across!! I did change it a little. Instead of one tablespoon of lemon, I did just half a tablespoon. And it turned out amazing!
