  1. Shell your nutmeg (if bought in the shell), then grate using a fine grater.
  2. Pour the non-dairy milk into your pot and sprinkle in the nutmeg. Heat gently for 5-6 minutes until it is warm, and very slightly bubbling, but not boiling.
  3. Take off the heat and whisk in the maple syrup.
  4. Place a small strainer over your cups and pour the milk through. Dust with a little cinnamon if you like, then serve immediately.
